Ya-qin Dong | National Certified Arts & Crafts Master

Born in 1971 in Yixing, Jiangsu—the historic heart of Zisha ceramics—Master Ya-qin Dong was immersed in the world of purple clay from a young age. Since the early 1990s, she has dedicated herself to the art of teapot design and creation, mentored by legendary masters in the field. She refined her pottery carving under the tutelage of Huang Song and mastered teapot shaping under Fan Huiping. Her exceptional talent and decades of disciplined practice earned her the prestigious title of National Certified Arts & Crafts Master in 2019.
